Digital Pedagogy Fellows Program

As a part of the workshop series, the DSL will designate a class of Digital Pedagogy Fellows. These Fellows will work with DSL staff and the workshop leaders to develop the ideas and methods learned through the series and implement them in their own teaching. The Fellows program offers a unique opportunity to engage theoretically and practically with digital pedagogy. Throughout the fellowship, fellows will develop their own digital humanities course or course component (such as an assignment or unit) that will, ideally, be taught at LSU in Spring or Fall 2017. To participate in the Fellows program participants are required to attend at least three of the six workshops as well as an additional workshop that will help them develop their course or course component, and to share their final course or component with the Fellows group.

Fellows will be selected through an application process.  Applicants should submit a brief one-page statement of interest that identifies any previous experience in digital humanities and the course (and semester) in which they plan to incorporate digital pedagogy. Applications should be submitted to the Digital Scholarship Lab (dsl@lsu.edu), by September 6.
