Board of Supervisors authorizes President W.B. Hatcher and the Radio Department of the General Extension Division to "make formal application for a construction permit to build a high-frequency modulation radio broadcasting station." The Board "allocated $56,000 from the university's funds for construction and operation and maintenance for one year."
