Station Manager George Waldroup petitions Governor Edwin Edwards and the Louisiana Educational Television Authority (LETA) requesting support for an FM-Radio Educational License. LETA says that the university must financially support the transition instead of relying on funding from selling commercial time. Chancellor Cecil G. Taylor denies university funding and support citing financial infeasibility.
