Meeting Space Policies and Reservations
The Hill Memorial Library lecture hall is available to University units and groups for meetings, classes, and events of less than 100 people. The room will seat up to 100 people lecture style. It can also be configured for smaller groups and classes. Requests to use the lecture hall must be submitted in advance using our Reservation Form.
To check if your event date is available, please call or email Meredith Contreras, 225-578-8906; mcontreras@lsu.edu. For lecture hall policies and procedures see Library Policy Memorandum 5. We ask that you submit your request as early as possible, with at least two weeks advanced notice.
Library facilities are generally not made available to groups without a University affiliation except for events co-sponsored by the LSU Libraries. Events scheduled by University units and groups must begin and end during Hill Memorial Library's regular hours. The lecture hall is equipped with a podium, microphone, projection screen, tables, and chairs.
The service charge for use of the Lecture Hall is $50.00 per hour for events serving refreshments and $25.00 per hour for events not serving refreshments - included is use of the room's multimedia smart podium and connected equipment. We are a research facility, and noise levels must be kept low. Thank you!
