Records consist of business letters, bills for merchandise, inventories of stock, and account books. Journals provide a daily record of purchases and customers. Ledgers contain detailed statements of accounts with various customers. Account books also contain inventory records and double-entry accounting. Other papers relate to oil leases (1916) and to World War I, including a reference contributions made by African Americans to the Red Cross (June 5, 1918).
