The majority of the tables and desks throughout LSU Library are treated as open seating for anyone to use. These spaces are available on all floors of the library. Certain areas are designated for quiet study; these include sections of the second and third floors and the entirety of the fourth. Regardless of where you are, please be respectful of other patrons studying nearby. There are several bookable group study rooms and individual study booths located on the third and fourth floors. Walk-up use of these spaces is encouraged, but reservations always take priority. Faculty and graduate students may also request a key for their own private study carrel at the checkout desk in room 241.
