Papers reflect plantation life during the 19th and early 20th centuries and show the business and social relationships between the prominent Bowman, Barrow, Turnbull, and Stirling families of West Feliciana Parish, La. Records include items such as correspondence, sermons, land records, financial papers, legal documents, plantation record books, and estate documents.
