A blank contract with Victor Marziou & Co. of Paris gives the terms, conditions, provisions, and cost for German passengers and crew for a voyage from Havre to either New York or New Orleans in the 1850s. A list of those reporting in Bavaria intending to sail with Strecker, Klein & Stoeck between April 1852 and April 1853 gives the name, town, and country of the applicant; the ages and number in the family; the name and residence of the agent; and the sum due from the applicant for passage.
