This passport, issued at Natchez, grants permission for John Orr, Edward Newcom, and William Buchanan to pass unmolested to the United States with seven horses. Collection primarily consists of financial and legal papers of Merrill, Buckner, and Jane Dunbar Ferguson, a planter of Washington, Adams County, Mississippi.
