Is there a fiction section in LSU Library?
FAQ
Tile HTML Summary
LSU library does own many works of fiction; however, because we are an academic library, we do not keep fiction in its own separate section. Fiction is classified by the country in which it was published. For example, English literature has a call number of PR, and American literature has a call number of PS. We also have many works of fiction for young adults in our Young People's Collection. In order to determine where to look for fiction in the stacks, please consult the library website or ask at the checkout desk in room 241 of LSU Library. We also have some works of popular fiction on our Book Exchange shelf in room 241. Anyone is welcome to take one of these books free of charge; books donated in exchange are certainly welcome, though not required.

It's too cold/hot in the library. Can someone adjust the temperature?
FAQ
Tile HTML Summary
Library staff do not have control over the temperature in the library, unfortunately. We recommend that everyone wear or bring clothes that will accommodate a range of temperatures since the temperature can vary depending on various factors. Additionally, each floor has its own set of temperature controls, so there may be a place thats warmer or cooler than your current location.

I'm trying to view an ebook, but it says it's in use. Is there another way for me to view the ebook?
FAQ
Tile HTML Summary
Of all the ebook collections the library has access to, EBSCO ebooks are the most restrictive in terms of how they are accessed and used. For example, some of them will require you to download Adobe Digital Editions to view the ebook. Also, many of them are single-user access only, so if you receive a message that the ebook is in use, you will have to check back later to see if it is available. The EBSCO ebook LibGuide (https://ebsco.libguides.com/ebooks/users) will assist you in using EBSCO ebooks. eResources Staff
