LSU Librarian receives two grants
LSU Libraries Art and Design Librarian Hillary Veeder is recipient of two grants.
The first is the H.W. Wilson Research Award in the amount of $850 to support Veeder's upcoming research project, Title Histories of Art & Design Periodical Literature. She plans to use the money to purchase a subscription to the ISSN Portal and will be submitting the project to the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) as one of the Society’s Online Publications.
Veeder will also receive the ARLIS/NA Southeast Chapter Professional Development Travel Award to support her trip to the annual conference in Minneapolis beginning March 24th. While there, she will be present a poster: A Composition: Fine Arts Databases.

The LSU Libraries includes the LSU Library and the adjacent Hill Memorial Library. Together, the libraries contain more than 4 million volumes and provide additional resources such as expert staff, technology, services, electronic resources, and facilities that advance research, teaching, and learning across every discipline.
