Digitizing LA Newspaper Project goes to Lafayette
The Digitizing Louisiana Newspapers Project will be at the South Regional Library of Lafayette Public Library at 6:15 PM on October 18, 2012 where Project Manager Laura Charney will deliver: "Resurrecting the Past: DLNP, Chronicling America, and Digitized Historic Newspapers in Genealogical Research". This presentation will briefly cover the development of DLNP, discuss the many resources found on the Chronicling America site, demonstrate effective advanced searching for family history projects.
