Beckoned by the Blooms: Arboretum Director visits Stones Exhibition

Stones_blog

This morning Patricia Drackett, Director of The Crosby Arboretum (MSU) located in Picayune, MS, paid a visit to Hill Memorial Library. Drackett, a fan of Margaret Stones and her paintings, came to LSU to view the current exhibition, “Late Bloomers.” Stones toured the Mississippi State University facility in 1987 while working on the Flora of Louisiana project, as the arboretum features many plants that are native to Louisiana.
