The LSU Libraries Film Series is set to have its third film showing on Wednesday, March 13th, at 2:00 PM, in the Hill Memorial Library Lecture Hall. The third film, Stolen, is an Australian documentary that allegedly uncovers slavery in the Sahrawi refugee camps controlled by the Polisario Front and the Moroccan controlled Western Sahara. According to the Globe and Mail, Stolen is "a dramatic and complex exploration of modern slavery, not to mention a fascinating study of the perils of documentary filmmaking." Stolen will have a brief introduction from Dr. Challen Nicklen, Professional-in-Residence in Women's and Gender Studies and International Studies. Admission is free of charge, and there will also be refreshments.
