Sigma Alpha Iota (International Music Fraternity) holds sale to benefit Middleton Library's music resources library
Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI) is a national organization that promotes interaction among those who share a commitment to music. The LSU Chapter, Sigma Phi, will hold its annual used music, book and recording sale in the School of Music Lobby on April 18-19, from 9 am-3 pm. Entitled, "Music Sale to Benefit YOUR Music Library," the sale will be organized and staffed by active members of the LSU chapter, and sales will benefit LSU's music library.
Interim Assistant Dean of the LSU Libraries and Head of Music Resources Lois Kuyper-Rushing enthusiastically supports the sale. "The SAI sale is a wonderful way for music materials to find new homes and for music students and faculty to obtain materials at a very low cost. As state funds have diminished, the profits from this sale have, over the years, provided new books and scores, new study tables and other needed amenities for music library users."
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to shop at the SAI Sale. We hope to see you on April 18-19!
