Display of architecture projects in Middleton Library
<div class="migrated-article"><img class="alignleft wp-image-5159 size-medium" src="/sites/default/files/featured_images/ARCH-2001-Middleton-Display.jpg" alt="ARCH 2001 Middleton Display" width="100%" data-align="center">A display of ARCH 2001 projects is currently on view in the Middleton Library lobby. Six groups of undergraduate architecture students each constructed a 1:1 (full scale) study kiosk and presentation board. They spent two weeks researching and designing, and then four days building their designs. This was a "kit-of-parts" project in which each team was given a set number of specifically-sized materials (in this case, 25 pieces of 2" x 4" x 8' dimensional lumber and 2 sheets of 1/2" x 4' x 8' plywood) they were allowed to use to construct their designs. An open house and competition for the project were held at the Architecture School on September 8<sup>th</sup>.
