Third and Fourth floor library offices close

The third and fourth floor offices in Middleton Library, also known as  stacks offices, will close on Monday, October 6. At that time, all Circulation Services personnel will begin working at the circulation desk on the first floor.

Instead of staffing the upper floor offices, the Patron Assistance Mobile Squad will patrol the those floors of the library regularly, to assist patrons and to report any problems. Students and other library patrons seeking assistance can also call the circulation desk at 578-2058 to page a staff member.

Students who reserve study rooms in advance should go to the first floor circulation desk to check in at the time of their reservation.

The LSU Libraries includes the LSU Library and the adjacent Hill Memorial Library. Together, the libraries contain more than 4 million volumes and provide additional resources such as expert staff, technology, services, electronic resources, and facilities that advance research, teaching, and learning across every discipline.
