Don't let your laptop walk off
Five unattended laptops have been stolen in Middleton Library over the past two weeks. Never leave personal belongings unattended in the library, even for a few minutes, including study rooms. Take valuable items with you when you leave your seat, or ask a friend to watch your laptop and booksack if you leave for a short period of time.
Update: A man has been arrested for the laptop thefts. We still encourage students to keep their belongings in sight or with a trusted friend.
