Construction update: February 24

wallsgoingupIn the next few days, scaffolding will go up along a small portion of the east wall on the outside of Middleton Library, so ventilation for and HVAC system can be installed for the math lab. The work will involve cutting through brick and the concrete block, which will create some noise. The scaffolding will be in place for three to four days.

The construction work on the math lab is moving quickly. Shelving, carpeting, lighting, and ceilings have been removed on the third floor, and new walls are going up.

The LSU Libraries includes the LSU Library and the adjacent Hill Memorial Library. Together, the libraries contain more than 4 million volumes and provide additional resources such as expert staff, technology, services, electronic resources, and facilities that advance research, teaching, and learning across every discipline.
