Kelley contributes expertise to entrepreneurship bootcamp

For the fourth year in a row, LSU Libraries business librarian Rebecca Kelley contributed her expertise to the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV), a 9-day residency program hosted by Stephenson Entrepreneurial Institute at the E.J. Ourso College of Business, that took place at LSU, February 26 - March 5, 2016.

Kelley conducted a session on industry and market research and then met with most of the eleven participants individually for research consultations. She also introduced participants to library resources and was available to answer research questions via email and Moodle. “As always, it has been such a great experience for me to help these veterans in this stage of their entrepreneurial journey,” said Kelley of her experience in the program.

LSU is one of only 10 world-class universities to participate in the EBV consortium, a national educational initiative designed to help veterans with disabilities transition to self-employment, develop professional networks, and start and grow sustainable businesses.

The LSU Libraries includes the LSU Library and the adjacent Hill Memorial Library. Together, the libraries contain more than 4 million volumes and provide additional resources such as expert staff, technology, services, electronic resources, and facilities that advance research, teaching, and learning across every discipline.
