Andrea Hebert receives 2016 Distance Library Services Conference Award
LSU Libraries' Andrea Hebert received the 17th Distance Library Services Conference Award, presented April 20 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The award is given to a first-time conference attendee with a contributed paper at the conference. Hebert presented her paper, "Hunting and Gathering: Attempting to Assess Services to Distance Learning Students," on April 20, 2015.
Hebert is the Human Sciences, Education, and Distance Learning Librarian at LSU Libraries, where she has worked since 2013. She holds an MA in Latin from the University of Georgia and an MLIS from LSU.
The Distance Library Services Conference brings librarians, administrators, and educators together to discuss and develop library services to distance students and faculty. The proceedings and conference papers are published in the Journal of Library & Information Services in Distance Learning.
