Journal of Web Librarianship names Comeaux to editorial board

David Comeaux

 Web Development Librarian, David Comeaux, was recently named to the editorial board for The Journal of Web Librarianship. He joins the board with more than twenty academic and systems librarians from universities worldwide. Comeaux will serve a two-year term as a peer reviewer of manuscripts. His areas of expertise include web design, user experience, web scale discovery, content management systems, web accessibility, usability testing, and web analytics. The Journal of Web Librarianship is an international, peer-reviewed journal focused on all aspects of librarianship as practiced on the World Wide Web, including both existing and emerging roles and activities of information professionals. Articles cover a wide-range of topics including cutting-edge practices and challenges in web librarianship. Comeaux joined LSU Libraries in 2014 and has more than six years of experience in academic libraries. During his term, Comeaux will contribute ideas and serve as a guest editor for special issues. In addition, he will promote journal content to colleagues at the Libraries.

The LSU Libraries includes the LSU Library and the adjacent Hill Memorial Library. Together, the libraries contain more than 4 million volumes and provide additional resources such as expert staff, technology, services, electronic resources, and facilities that advance research, teaching, and learning across every discipline.
