Middleton Library waterproofing project underway
Starting Monday, Oct. 16, students coming to Middleton Library will need to take a small detour to enter the building. Fencing and plywood along the front of Middleton Library will block direct access from the Quad, with a detour available along Himes Hall and behind the fencing in front of the library.
Students can expect some related noise each Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. After 3:30 p.m. each day, construction noise will stop.
The project includes waterproofing Middleton Library and landscaping the Quad area in front of the library. The estimated end date for the project is Jan. 10, 2018.
The LSU Libraries includes the LSU Library and the adjacent Hill Memorial Library. Together, the libraries contain more than 4 million volumes and provide additional resources such as expert staff, technology, services, electronic resources, and facilities that advance research, teaching, and learning across every discipline.
