LSU Libraries welcomes Trent Dunkin as Resource Sharing Specialist

Trent Dunkin has joined LSU Libraries as a Resource Sharing Specialist with the Interlibrary Loan department. In his position, Dunkin will help provide materials the LSU Libraries owns to other libraries along with obtaining needed materials for our patrons. Dunkin previously worked with LSU Online Distance Learning (ODL) as a Learner Specialist, working to advise students.

Originally from Denham Springs, Dunkin earned two bachelor’s degrees, French and English, from LSU and a graduate degree from the University of New Orleans in Romance Languages. Beginning in January, he will start the MLIS program here at LSU.

In his spare time, Dunkin enjoys traveling, reading, museums, and checking out various festivals throughout Louisiana.

The LSU Libraries includes the LSU Library and the adjacent Hill Memorial Library. Together, the libraries contain more than 4 million volumes and provide additional resources such as expert staff, technology, services, electronic resources, and facilities that advance research, teaching, and learning across every discipline.
