170 reserve books now available online

In response to university closures, several publishers have made electronic books freely-available for the 2020 spring semester. LSU Libraries has identified more than 170 titles that were formerly on reserve at Middleton Library and are now available through our e-book platform: https://lib.lsu.edu/ebooks.

These titles are all indicated by an “Available through Redshelf” label and will be available through the online catalog and Discovery shortly.  The platform that is providing these books requires users to create a unique logon to access the resources.  Once created, each user can save up to seven resources to their shelf. These titles will be available until May 25.

The LSU Libraries includes the LSU Library and the adjacent Hill Memorial Library. Together, the libraries contain more than 4 million volumes and provide additional resources such as expert staff, technology, services, electronic resources, and facilities that advance research, teaching, and learning across every discipline.
