Library accounts now available through MyLSU sign-on

Starting in November, students and faculty will be able to log in to their online library accounts using their LSU IDs and passwords, no longer requiring a separate library log-in to view checkouts, renew books, place holds, or pay fines.

In addition to this change, the Discovery database will no longer have “Log in to My Library Account” on its menu and the “Place Hold” button, which displayed for physical items, will be replaced with a link labeled “View in LSU Catalog to Place Hold and More.”

We hope that this change makes your library experience more convenient.

The LSU Libraries includes the LSU Library and the adjacent Hill Memorial Library. Together, the libraries contain more than 4 million volumes and provide additional resources such as expert staff, technology, services, electronic resources, and facilities that advance research, teaching, and learning across every discipline.
