LSU Libraries' Nicollette Davis Appointed to LDRS Editorial Board

Nicollette DavisKinesiology, Social Work and Health Sciences Assistant Librarian Nicollette Davis has been appointed to the Editorial Board for Library Diversity and Residency Studies (LDRS).

LDRS is an open access, peer-reviewed journal founded and published by a team of librarians and library and information (LIS) science faculty members. LDRS publishes articles that are engaged in the social justice project of increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the library profession and in LIS curricula.

Davis has published articles related to DEI in American Libraries and is recipient of the 2018 Colorism Healing writing contest for two short stories published in Colorism Essays and Poems: Volume 2.

The LSU Libraries includes the LSU Library and the adjacent Hill Memorial Library. Together, the libraries contain more than 4 million volumes and provide additional resources such as expert staff, technology, services, electronic resources, and facilities that advance research, teaching, and learning across every discipline.
