Gina E. Eubanks

Biography

Gina E. Eubanks was born on June 11, 1956. She is a native of Clinton, East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. She is the daughter of L.E. Eubanks and Ora (Davis) Eubanks. She participated in 4-H during high school, and attended Southern University, receiving a B.S. degree in clothing and textiles in 1977. Following her B.S. degree, she attended Oklahoma State University and earned a master's degree in clothing and textiles in 1978. She also received a PhD in home economics from Oklahoma State University in 1987. In 1990, she joined Southern University as the coordinator of family and consumer sciences. She was named vice chancellor for extension in 2002. In May of 2013, she was named program leader of food and nutrition for the Louisiana State University AgCenter.
