Billiu, John S. Friendship album, 1856-1860. 1 volume. Location: G:20. This friendship album or \"alba amicorum\" contains inscriptions from college friends of John S. Billiu of New Orleans, La. Most inscriptions were written by friends from various Southern states attending Centenary College of Louisiana and the University of Virginia between 1856 and 1857. The volume is a blank book for poetry containing five illustrative engravings. Mss. 5089.
