Cutts, James Madison, 1837-1903. Letter, 1867. 1 item. Location: Misc. Brevet lieutenant colonel in the 20th U.S. Infantry assigned to Philip Sheridan's 5th Military District, which included Louisiana. He was commander of the post at Shreveport, La. Letter from Cutts, Shreveport, La., to Thomas Ewing, former brigadier general in the U.S. Army.
