Lorenzo Dow (October 16, 1777-February 2, 1834) was a popular, eccentric American itinerant preacher and an important figure in the Second Great Awakening. Lorenzo Dow in New York writes his parents, Humphrey Dean and Tabitha (Parker) Dow, in Coventry, Conn., describing his itinerant preaching in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Mss. 4105.
