Her papers consist of seven short literary manuscripts whose topics focus on the Old South and were based upon Edmond's own experiences before, during, and after the Civil War. A typed excerpt from "Reminiscence, 1832, On a Louisiana Plantation" centers on the author's grandfather, Judge Seth Lewis, and gives some family history as well as an examination of local customs.
