Kneeland, Ira. Land surveys, 1806. 2 land surveys. Location: MISC:K. Ira Cook Kneeland was born in Massachusetts. He was deputy land surveyor for Vicente Sebastian Pintado in Louisiana. He died around 1812. Includes two surveys by Ira Kneeland for parcels in New Feliciana by order of the Governor of Baton Rouge. One survey is for Isaac Johnson's property dated from October 16, 1806, and the second is for John Barnhill's property dated December 20, 1806. Mss. 5131.
