James McCulloch, in New Orleans, Louisiana at the time, writes to Isaac Abercrombie in Greenfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts. McCulloch mentions that he is sailing from New Orleans to New York, and he asks Abercrombie to write what the price of corn is in Greenfield. McCulloch also mentions that he will ship items up the Connecticut River in Hartford. Mss. 5355.
