Intelligence officer during World War II and was dean of the LSU Libraries between 1961 and 1973. The 230 photographs, taken by McMullan when stationed in the Philippine Islands, record the surrender of Japanese forces, war damage, and scenes in Manila and elsewhere in the islands. A small number of photomechanical prints, slides, clippings, leaflets, and picture postcards are also included. Mss. 2750.
