Miller, Caleb. Letters, 1817-1824. 2 letters. Location: Misc:M. American slave trader on board vessels transporting slaves to Cuba and America. Edward Spalding, a merchant from Bristol, Rhode Island, was involved in the slave trade in Cuba and acted as agent for Jacob Babbitt and the DeWolf family.
