Peck of Natchez, Miss., from business associates in New York, N.Y., pertain to their commercial interests, cotton trade, shipping, and the transfer of funds. Letters also comment the possible loss of a steamer in route from Liverpool, England to New York and a fire on board the steamer "Lexington" that killed all but three passengers and destroyed the ship.
