Correspondence from her children and other family members pertains chiefly to family matters; some correspondence is concerned with land holdings of Scott's son-in-law, R. H. Harris. Also includes an 1865 amnesty oath signed by Israel Scott. Other letters discuss the cattle, lumber, and oil industries, and the death of Huey Long.
