Snell, S. F. Letter, 1863 April 26. 1 item. Location: Misc.:S. Union soldier in the 19th Army Corps stationed at Brashear City, Louisiana (now Morgan City), during the Red River Campaign of 1863. Letter to his wife in New England, complaining of not being able to celebrate the Sabbath properly in the army, especially in Louisiana. He notes that General Banks arrived there yesterday.
