Louis Juchereau de St. Denis was a Canadian-born French adventurer who established the French post at Natchitoches in 1714 and began contraband trade with the nearby Spanish colonists in Texas. This agreement divides the lands from the succession of Louis St. Denis in Natchitoches Parish, La. It describes the locations of two areas of land (27 and 11 arpents) belonging to his widow and children, some of which was retained in common for their livestock. In French. Mss. 5051.
