Native of Buffalo, New York, living in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, the Reverend A. H. Lamon, in Devall, West Baton Rouge Parish, La. Entries pertain to trips to New Orleans and Baton Rouge, the religious and social life of the slaves, and holiday celebrations. Collection includes a photocopy of a section of the Persac map (1858).
