Twenty-Fifth Colored Infantry Regiment letterbook, 1869. 1 volume. Location: Misc: T. Sixteen letters of Captain Frank M. Cone to Captain George Baldey, an adjutant with Army Headquarters in New Orleans, detail acts of violence and lawlessness by the Ku Klux Klan of St. Landry Parrish especially towards members of the 25th, and the local government's inability to contain the violence and punish the perpetrators.
