Tompkins, president of the Louisiana Division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC), to "Madam President-General" of the UDC. Tompkins describes activities of the Louisiana Division throughout the year, including the unveiling of monuments for Prince de Polignac (Camille de Polignac) and Richard Taylor (Dick Taylor) at the Mansfield Convention; the Connecticut Legislature's return of the Louisiana Tigers' flag; and registration numbers in the Children of the Confederacy chapters.
