The Department of Louisiana Headquarters was located on Carondolet and Julia Streets in New Orleans, La. At the end of the Civil War, the three-story building acted as Union Army headquarters. A carte-de-visite style photograph of the Department of Louisiana Headquarters depicting a three story building with an American flag on a third floor balcony.
