In almost every case, Interlibrary loan is free to use. LSU Libraries covers up to $65 per request. If our cost exceeds $65, we will email and ask you to pay the overage amount before we proceed with the request.

State law prevents us from providing appraisal services, however, our curators may be able to direct you toward appraisal resources for your specific materials. American Society of Appraisers: http://www.appraisers.org/find-an-appraiser (http://www.appraisers.org/find-an-appraiser)

The library sometimes accepts book donations. To donate scholarly books, please contact your subject specialist. For non-scholarly books, the LSU Library has a book exchange in room 241 near the Wellness Hub. To donate to the book exchange, please contact Mitch Fontenot at mfonten@lsu.edu. (mailto:mfonten@lsu.edu) The Friends of the LSU Libraries accepts donations for its annual book bazaar and the book barn. Proceeds from the bazaar help to fund special purchases for the libraries collections. Please contact the Friends at 225-578-5925. Thanks for considering donating to us!

Standards are located in ASTM Compass (https://libezp.lib.lsu.edu/login?url=https://secure.astm.org/login?redi…) . We also have IEEE Xplore (https://libezp.lib.lsu.edu/login?url=https://www.ieee.org/ieeexplore/) which has some standards. We also have an engineer guide (https://guides.lib.lsu.edu/c.php?g=354741&p=6002397) that has standards listed. Our STEM Librarian (https://lib.lsu.edu/staff#cambriahuff) can help you find good sources pertaining to standards. **STEM Librarian will start summer 2022
