Document from Carondelet to Nicolas Forstall, commandant at Opelousas, letting Forstall know that Josef[?] de la Pena has presented himself in Carondelet's tribunal with a petition and an account concerning payment and placement of a borrowed slave named Pedro. Official issues include the boundary between Avoyelles and Rapides districts and completion of an inventory of military records.
