My earliest memory as a child...I can remember...my mom let me pick out my own clothes. When I was little, really young. She gave me a pair of pants that had stripes, vertical stripes...and I had a shirt that had horizontal stripes. I always wanted to wear them together. That was my favorite thing and I guess that’s a fashion faux pas but I thought it was so fresh the way like... I don’t know...the...stripes would go against each other.

My biggest influence would have to be Andy Warhol. He’s a big asshole, but in general he just had this ability to make the mundane awesome. And I think that’s like...so dope because that’s maybe at the heart of my work. Appreciating the normal person and parts of life that are often overlooked.
