Byron Levy: My career was of Tulane University. I went to work in a shipyard. Then I worked… I was in the [United States] Army Air Corps for about four years. Served… I was trained at Yale, then went to British Guinea South America, then went to Guam. I was at Guam about the time of the Japanese surrender, and spent a year after the end of the war. So when I came back, I had to decide if…keep following engineering, or get in the family paper business. I decided that the paper business had better opportunities in New Orleans.
